Is it illegal to hatch and release Canadian geese?

We have an experiment station that has geese we live in south Ga around the ABAC campus I also have pilgrim geese eggs with it.
I could give it to them when it hatched or gets older. They have a wildlife refuge.

One of my mothers co-workers asked for me to hatch them out. Since I was planning on hatching the Canadian goose egg.

The wildlife refuge is probably the best option for both you and the egg. It isn't your problem when you hand over the egg to the conservation and they probably know best what to do.

Well when it hatches. They lay the eggs whenever they feel like dropping them sometimes at the pond. Raccoons usually get alot of the ones that are laid on the bank. And the cats get the goslings on their 1st week of life.
