Is it male or female what type plz help people need help with my chicken

I can't tell if her face is red, the pic is dark. Is she the same chicken you've posted about in your other 4 threads? If so, I don't think she's ready to lay yet. Her skin around her eyes will be red when she's ready to lay.

Just an FYI, you should really only start 1 thread, not a bunch. It gives the moderators much more work and they may lock them. You'll get better answers, also, if you keep all your questions and other members' answers together, in one thread.

Female easter egger. She should give you blue or green eggs. From the comb she may not be quite ready to lay, or she could be old enough to lay but just stressed at a change in environment.

I agree with female easter egger. She resembles mine but yours has more "face fluff". Mine is 30 weeks old today and has been laying for approx 6 weeks, but the catch is that she has only layed one egg a week since she started. Very strange to me, but she is a happy hen. Probably just a late bloomer. Enjoy yours, they have great personality.

She looks a lil small to me. She may still be a lil too young. Could possibly be very close to the age of laying though! Keep an eye out!!!
