Is it Mareks????

Thank you all very much. Yes they are Cornish being raised for meat production. We do a combination of free range and feed with them but they don't seem to be meaty enough yet to butcher. The 2 from yesterday are just limping for now so maybe they just have leg probls. I do plan on taking a look inside once I butcher to see if anything is abnormal. This is the 3 rd batch we are butchering so I know what the inside of a chicken looks like. I will be able to spot abnormalities. I will keep you all posted.

Good luck to you. There are some photos of necropsy results in this PDF file, starting on page 10: (WARINING, GRAPHIC) http://www.vdl.umn.edu/prod/groups/cvm/@pub/@cvm/@vdl/documents/asset/cvm_asset_350829.pdf

You can also find more necropsy photos for Marek's disease via this site... search for "Marek's disease" and scroll through the many photos and written descriptions (again, graphic): http://partnersah.vet.cornell.edu/avian-atlas/
Note the tabs at the top of the images, which you can flip through. There are ones for Clinical Signs, Gross Lesions, and Normals.

With Marek's, a bird might have ALL of the symptoms, none (visible under gross necropsy), or just some.
