Well I took him some food and the antibiotics. He DID know they were sick. He said that he'd been putting vinegar in thier water?! Home remedy?

I've done what I can.... thanks for all your help!

I think its wonderful that you took him the medicine and food. If he was aware they were ill it may be he couldn't afford medicine or just didn't know what to do. Good for you

If he was using apple cider vinegar it might've helped some, but not to the extent that they needed. Glad you did a good deed and helped him out.

Maybe you could give him the URL to BYC or if he don't have internet a book on chickens

edited to add. Be sure to spray Lysol or something on your shoes when going over to his place. You don't want to bring anything back to your flock.
