Lots of feed stores call all the Easter Eggers "Ameraucanas" or "Americanas" although they can be a mix of several kinds. They shouldn't really be calling them any thing but Easter Eggers. From 3 EEs I bought this spring, I got two with green legs, muffs, beards and tiny pea combs, and one with long yellow legs, no muffs or beard (tiny sleek head) and pointy but tiny comb. But they all lay blue eggs.Thank you all, she is very pretty! In March I bought six Ameraucanas, I’m not sure what a true Ameraucans actually look like! Because none of them look the same.
