Is it normal for a peacock to not eat in the first day I go it?

Just yesterday I got a new peacock, he hasn't eaten but maybe it's because I only have starter chick feed, just to make sure one year old peacocks need game bird feed right? Just asking so I know what food I need to get him tomorrow.

Do you know what the previous owner was feeding? Try to duplicate the feed that he is accustomed to.
