I have 3 chinese crested geese. My female has finally gone broody. I have no idea how many eggs she has for she refuses to get off the nest. Now the male is in there with her and is in the nest and they switch places on the eggs. Is this normal??? The third goose watches guard. He is so funny. (At least I think its a he) Also, will she ever get up???? I moved food in there because she hasn't been off for four days now and I was worried about her. She gobbled the food down but never moved off the nest.

Sounds like you have 2 geese and 1 gander, he will stand guard and the 2 geese are sitting sharing the nest. Make sure they both eat because there was a thread on her recently about a goose who starved herself because she wouldn't get off the nest. and
