Is it normal to get freaked ?.

Ha this is strange but you do have to wonder why a troll would dig up a 12 year old post and then copy it and post it over?
What is the troll value in that exactly?

Many may or may not agree, there are many on BYC and other communities who don't look for information or answers to their questions, something that was previously posted with good info and just start a new thread. I'm sure some posts may have been copied from older posts/threads but I agree that it isn't hurting anyone. Some of the older posts have just as good and pertinent information today as the day they were posted. Just my personal opinion.

I agree! I just wanted to let people know, as the OP has other threads that are also exact copies of older threads. Often these threads were eventually replied to by the OP with a quick 'thanks but I fixed the problem'.

In the past on BYC before they changed things, every once in awhile I had double and triple posts. I have no idea why it happened. I haven't experienced it with this newer format.

On candling, I used to candle quite often. Now I do it about 2 weeks in and look for development but I don't candle every egg. I have a cabinet incubator so I just pick out a few eggs. The next time I candle is when I take the eggs out of the incubator and put them in the hatchers. I discard the obvious no development and mark the questionable ones with an (X). Good luck...
I have previously posted this picture.

Honestly this early on I'd bet those eggs won't make it with that temp spike for so long. Wait until day 7 or so and candle. I use my phone's flashlight most of the time and it works pretty well, you don't need anything fancy. If you can't see any development in any of the eggs I'd probably toss them all and move on since that big temp spike. I'd try starting over at that point. Hopefully they weren't too expensive of eggs!

I also just found it surprising that both the OP, as well as @zimmy (who posted the other thread exactly like this one in 2007), would have the exact same temperature spike, and word it exactly the same way. They do have plenty of good info though, and anybody with the same question may learn something useful :).

I totally see what you mean, all of the posts from this user are word for word minus changing the name from threads in 2007. Not even just the same question or a similar post. I mean oh well, answers still stand and maybe it can help someone else out down the road who is searching and sees the responses :)

I have a few very similar posts over the years, but the same information still applied. I copied and pasted and edited instead of writing the whole post over again. I probably should have just put a link to the pertinent post.
