I have four Wyandotte hens that are 6 1/2 months old. One of my hens was laying an egg every day and the others was laying for 2 days and just stopped laying. Is there something wrong or is it just normal?
Mahalo in advance for helping 🤙

Any recent changes at all? New food, predator came by, changed the bedding, etc.? Chickens can be sensitive to changes so that could throw them off lay.

I did change their food which, they absolutely LOVE and THEN, they started laying eggs. Not a whole lot, a couple to a few. I'm not even sure if all 4 hens are laying? But now, if lucky that I get ONE for the day. But, everything else is normal.

Well.... I may have found out the reason why? This morning, I heard my hens squawking up a storm so, I ran down there and heard a cat, couldn't see it because I live in a rainforest on the Big Island of Hawaii. Then, after I scared it away (hopefully), about an hour later, heard my hens again and THIS time, I saw a Hawaiian hawk😲 so...I think I may have found the answer 🤔
Mahalo so much for all your replies 🤙
