Hi, is it normal that my chickens scream and get testy before they lay? 1 of mine just started this week and all week she's been testy about an hour before each laying time. I live on the Caribbean so we don't name our types of chickens they are just chickens at least in my village they don't... I have 2 red ones and 2 black/grey ones. Also how do I post pictures of the 1st egg? I don't see where to upload it. Thanks and have a great day!

My girls all "screamed" and ran in and out of the coop every day with those first eggs. They soon figured out what was happening and now they just go into the coop and do their thing.
