Is it ok to candle the eggs on day 6th

i was wondering if I could candle my eggs for the first time tonight today is the 6th day but tonight will be really close to day seven or would it hurt the eggs? Thanks so much!

people frequently candle on day 6+, then again on day 18 for the last time. just be quick about it, and wash your hands before to avoid any spreading of bacteria to the egg if your that concerned.
