I want my chickens to lay eggs in the right place so the eggs arent around their coop laying somewhere.

Is it ok if i give them a store-bought egg? (the one bought like at wincos or costco)

I wouldn't. Store bought eggs have incredibly thin shells and would easily be broken. Once broken, your birds will eat it - a bad habit to start. Use wooden eggs or golf balls. Some people fill Easter eggs with rocks and glue them shut.

I wouldn't. I read the other day something about a special coating put on store eggs, it was a post about why you shouldn't give them broken up store egg shells to eat for calcium.
