Is it ok if I can give my chicken poly vi sol with iron? We didn’t know that it wasn’t supposed to have iron after the fact we bought it. She’s about 6-7 months old and the dosages she needs if it’s ok to give her

We are sure she has wry neck because her neck is shaped like an s and has trouble stretching it out so she kinda looks like a penguin.

If you think she has Wry Neck, then it would be better to go to WalMart, CVS or similar store and get a bottle of Vitamin E (400IU) and B-Complex.

Give her 1 Vitamin E gel cap and 1/4 tablet B-Complex once a day. A treat of egg once a day will help with the uptake of E.

See that she's staying hydrated and encourage her to eat.

Wry Neck is a neurological symptom - some common causes of this symptom are Marek's disease, trauma and sometimes vitamin deficiency.

Hopefully she will respond to vitamin therapy.

At 6-7 months .... what breed is she? You mention she looks like a penguin with her neck bent - does she lay eggs? Is her crop emptying?
