I'm still waiting to hear how you pulled feathers out of the tails of several songbirds in order to identify thm. Not really buying this at all, quite frankly, but not wanting to call you a liar. Sure would like to learn this little trick, for sure!
in some places you need a license for doves...their a nuisance bird...some places no license...Isnt that against the law?

Tell that to your Local Game Warden when he stops by.Bird netting is expensive thought. Where I live in AZ, it could cost up to 300 USD for chicken wire all over my coop. I knew those damn doves would be back. Besides, Doves are not even native to the US. They came here all because 3 doves escaped a pet shop in the Caribbean.
You should discuss this with your lit teacher, but no. That is not what that means.I actually just finished reading that in my high school english class. I think by mockingbird they meant black people but im not good at dissecting racism in books
Oh it damn well worked alright. There were actually 7 doves, but there was only 6 when I had to kill them. The 7th one was smart enough to not come back besides their smooth brain
If you really feel like "sh!t" you'd listen to suggestions and stop killing the birds. Do I think it is "morally OK" to kill pest birds.....no personally I don't. You provided the food source for them and taught them to come to your pen. It's your fault and you choose not to stop. It's not the birds fault, it is YOUR fault. Next thing you will blame the "pest birds" for giving your birds disease. Again YOUR fault. Open your ears and listen to the suggestions.Today I killed 5 or 6 doves that were in my run eating all my feed. I killed them because I knew they would come back. I track them by pulling 3 of their tail feathers but I know which to pull so It wont hurt them when they fly around. The 6 doves had 3 tail feathers missing. They came back 5 times and ate all my feed. I feel really bad for killing them but do you guys think its morally OK to kill pest birds that enter your coop? I feel like sh!t right now![]()
When your coop is so massive chicken wire cost over 1000$ of netting, rooster or pet dog wont attack pest birds, and they go through your 50 pound 30$ bag of feed every week, they get in through every hole and everything, and when your neighbor gets so stressed she is giving you her 3 chickens, I consider having a slaughter on pest birds a very nice option. Also your personal opinion is personalIf you really feel like "sh!t" you'd listen to suggestions and stop killing the birds.
