Is it ok to move a broody off her nest?

Yes you can move her, but do you really need to? Even though you may not see her leaving the nest, they almost always do.

I've moved mine every day for about the last two weeks. I just sit her in front of the food and she'll eat for a few minutes (while I snag the eggs) then she jumps back in the nest and continues to try to hatch the wood egg. No luck so far on that one.
