Our heat lamp broke today (the second bulb we've bought) our chicks are roughly 4 weeks old. And have feathers all over except under their wings.
Going to have to leave the heat lamp off tonight as it is now 5pm on a Sunday so can't get new heat bulb.
Just a bit worried. It's around 15 degrees c at night (60f) but they are in the house and we have the heat on till we go to bed.

They will be fine. It was time to turn it off. You can probably start acclimating them to the outdoors on short trips in a day or two as well, and move them in a week or so.

We've been taking them out daily for about a week now

only weather permitting and they have been fine.
Thanks for the advice.

4 weeks is when your supposed to turn off the light!
With my babies though I am keeping on the light because it's a bit colder over my place!
Other than that during the day they should be fine!

Wish you well!! :cd
