Wondering if anyone has used bag balm and if that's okay to use.
Long story short - my friend's 5 chickens have been getting frostbite. I suggested that vasoline was a good way to prevent frostbite, but instead she used bag balm and her chickens are all getting black tips...frostbite.
Her coop is probably too big for only 5 hens, but any other ideas are appreciated.
