Ducks are opportunist feeders and it's not unusual for them to eat frogs...mine free range and I catch them with the occasional mole or baby bird that has fallen from the nest
You saw one eat a snake!! OMGSo my ducklings have now upped their diet to mice, snakes, and worms. Holy crap!
Good grief. They really will eat anything won't they. Mine have developed a taste for dog doo dooLmbo, that's too funny
The snake was just a baby red belly about 6 inches long. Harmless, just like a garter snake. The duckling flipped it around for a few seconds and then it was down the hatch.
