Is it okay for my 5 week old ducklings to eat frogs?

Put black on top and call it bumblefoot, lol.

Ducks are opportunist feeders and it's not unusual for them to eat frogs...mine free range and I catch them with the occasional mole or baby bird that has fallen from the nest

Opportunistic indeed, I saw mine come veryyyy close to grabbing a distracted hummingbird. No doubt it would’ve been down the hatch.

So my ducklings have now upped their diet to mice, snakes, and worms. Holy crap!
You saw one eat a snake!! OMG
how big was the snake? I had a small snake in the yard last week and one of my Cayuga s honked and honked until I came over and got it. She seemed to be having a staring contest with the snake! She was frozen stiff giving it the side eye. :gig

Lmbo, that's too funny :lau

The snake was just a baby red belly about 6 inches long. Harmless, just like a garter snake. The duckling flipped it around for a few seconds and then it was down the hatch.
Good grief. They really will eat anything won't they. Mine have developed a taste for dog doo doo
I try not to think about that when I'm eating their eggs. :he

Oh no!:sick
I hope mine don't, but then again is dog poop really nastier then frogs, snakes, mice, worms, etc. Yuck, now I'm gonna have to forget this conversation, so I can eat the eggs, lol.
