Is it okay for my 5 week old ducklings to eat frogs?

Ok, so my duckling still has the diarrhea on and off, but they were laying snuggled up with the roosters and my duckling stood up and blew his diarrhea all over the rooster!
My rooster scream got up and ran around flapping and shaking himself off.
OMG I almost peed myself. I had to share, lol.

Cant imagine frog sits well in the intestines at first when you start eating them.

But oh to have seen the rooster after that would have been priceless.

I hope mine enjoy what ever critters they find out in their pen as much as yours seem to. Seems like a good way to keep down little pesty things. I can be ok with them eating almost all those little critters too. Though I don't think I want to try any of them myself.

Did you do anything to teach your ducklings they can eat all these strange things or did they just look at it and say "mmm that looks tastey" down the bill it goes.

They just eat anything that moves.

I’ve seen both my chickens and ducks kill and eat a small mouse.

Just wish they wouldn’t eat them alive. I’ve seen mine eat frogs and snakes and mice alive it isn’t pleasant.

If they eat the mice it is less likely that the mice are causing them problems though. Like eating their feed or a friend has ones that the mice steal their eggs and eat them.
