There's a small hole now, I put antibiotics ointment on it, is that okay as well? I read it wasn't supposed to be a "black button" like it was. There's small specks of blood did I do something bad?

Well, it's never 'okay' to rip the scab off a chick's umbilicus, and yes, it was a bad thing to do, but mistakes happen. Putting antibiotic ointment on it was fine as long as it doesn't contain pain relief and with luck it will scab over again quickly and heal up.
