I just had some chicks hatch last night. and they probably need some food soon. but, the feed store is closed on sundays.. but, I found some chick food in a container like the contain ers that I keep the chicken food in. is it ok for them to eat? it's not wet, no bugs, and doesn't smell bad. please tell me! I got chicks to feed!

I'd scramble them eggs before I would feed food that old. It may not smell bad or anything, but it's not a chance I would personally take.

ETA: Scrambled eggs is a complete food for them, but they don't HAVE TO HAVE anything for 2-3 days while they absorb yolk. You could just make sure they have plenty of water.
