Is it possible to catch wild chickens to lay eggs?

I am living on grand cayman island and there are wild chickens everywhere is it possible to catch them and put them in a coop? If so should I try and get really young ones and feed them up properly?

It sure sounds possible. I'd try to get the very youngest ones you can find so that you can feed them treats and make them more "domestic." Also, wild chickens probably have worms and lice (not contagious to you, but yucky and bad for their health) so you might want to look into appropriate treatments to get them up to a high level of healthiness and egg production.
