Is it possible to develop crele coloring in breeds other than OEGB?

Bantam cochins.

To get a true Crele in the Cochin breed you would have to a Barred Cochin to Black Breasted Red of another breed...
Now you could breed a Partridge Cochin to a Barred Cochin and get something close but as stated be RAREROO earlier it would be a Barred Partridge and not a true Crele...

So if I bred a barred bantam cochin to a BBRed OEGB would it be possible to breed out the OEGB type but keep the color?

Uumm I don't think that would work, it would be the BBRed that you would need to breed back to get good crele coloring, if you just kept breeding back the the barred cochin, would would end up losing the red and just end up with barred birds.

If you are wanting to do bantam cochins, Like Chris and I said, just getting barred Partridge would get you close enough and wouldn't take as long as with outcrossing. But it wouldn't be true crele, just really close as far as appearance epecially in the roos. You would need to breed a barred roo to partridge hens also.
