Is it possible to hatch a double yolk egg?

I was collecting the eggs down at our chicken coop and found one that was enormous- probably as big as a duck egg. I suspected it was a double yolk, so I candled it, and sure enough, it was. I plopped it in my incubator along with the other eggs I'm currently incubating. I'm pretty sure its fertile because we have 4 roosters that never leave the hens alone. I was just wondering if twin hatches were possible and what the chances were for twins to survive. I'll try to post pics later, thanks!

Possible, yes.....but problematic not just at hatch (almost without exception requires assisted hatching, but through development too.....most folks choose not to set them to avoid the risks involved for the chicks

The chances are high they will not srvive, I wouldn't do it
