Is it Possible to Raise Bantam Chicks With Standard Chicks?

So I'm getting chicks this spring and wondered if I can rear them together, maybe if I mix turkey starter with the chick starter, and maybe put the temp a little higher? Is that something people do successfully?
If not, I'll probably just skip the bantams this year.

Yeah, you can. I've never changed heat or protein though from normal

Two bantam silkies +10 standard. No issues. No special needs for the bantams.

I've got my standards figured out, now I just need to decide if I want bantam cochins, or silkies!

Shouldn't be an issue, as they get bigger just watch for the bigger ones being bullies

Cochins might do better. My bantam was tied for #1 in my mixed flock with a standard hen, and she was taken seriously

I have 4 silkies that were raised from the brooder with standards. Never had any problems with them and one of the silkie girls is now the boss. She puts the bigger birds in their place without problems. Pretty funny to see her chasing them!
