In the future if you want to see if a plant can be saved one of the easiest ways to do it is to check the roots. If you have healthy roots many plants can come back. If you have rotten roots or crispy roots and nothing else left then not usually. Especially when it comes to plants that have dried out or suffered from too wet soil.
