Is it possible for a chicken to become egg bound even if it has already laid an egg before?

A bird can become eh bound at any point in her productive life.

Mine are sultan bantams. They are supposed to lay eggs once a week. But it's been two weeks since they've laid an egg! I don't know exactly how old they are but i think they're around 6 months old. I don't know if they are egg bound or not, but i don't want to check them because I don't want to take them of their nests. they've only laid two eggs before.

Guess what! They both just laid eggs. Thank you for helping. At least now I know what to look for in case it does happen.

If they are "new" layers don't be surprised if they don't lay every day.
It will take them a few weeks to get on a "regular cycle".
