I moved my two 3 week old goslings to the outside brooder and introduced them to their older siblings. They took to them surprisingly well, not extremely broody, but attentive enough that when the babies chirp they run to them. One gosling keeps going after my gander though but he just "yells" at it and moves away, maybe a nip.
The problem now is that they seem to be attached. So much that the older ones wouldn't go into their tractor tonight because the babies were screaming in the brooder.
Is it safe to keep them with the older ones for the night? Or in a cage near their tractor? It still sometimes gets down to the high 50s at night and I'm worried of them getting cold.
