Is it safe to put chciks out yet?

We got some chicks that are a little over a month old. Is it ok to put them outside yet?
P.S. I didn't notice I spelled chicks wrong in the title until it was too late

It depends on your temps and if the chicks are fully feathered yet. And how many there are. More chicks can snuggle up and make a warmer ball of feathers than two or three can. If your average lows are in the 40s or above and your gals have all their feathers then you should be good. I use 6 weeks as the general reference point. Maybe a little before or a little after that mark based on the other factors.

You should be fine then. I have six I put out at 5.5 weeks and they did just fine. I checked on them a few times the first two nights to be sure but they were toasty.
