Is it safe to take my pet silkie to the park for a walk with a harness?

I wanted to take him for an adventure but dont want him to get stressed or catch anything im veary protective of him because he has my heart ❤

Yes he is used to his horness and chicken diapers there are no dogs and i wouldnt let him go more then two feet from me in case i had to swoop him up quick.My only worry is him catching anything

I think it's too dangerous, and wouldn't consider it without having bear spray handy for those dogs! Your bird will be stressed too, not good in any direction.

Update: Thank you for all your responses I took him and he loved it!!! I was scared it would stress him out but it was the opposite he was super excited. I had him with his horness and leash and didnt let him out of reach,there were no dogs.Either way i wouldn't risk letting him go more than 2 feet.He never was this exited in our yard lol.He even loved his trip to Sonic hes an adventurer for sure
