Is it stuck in the shell?

he had broke a small hole in the egg for around 2 days and made no progress so I went ahead an helped him out, all the yolk has gone but his umbilical cord is still attached? What should I exapect to happen ?

That's not just membrane, part of the yolk is still there and the navel is not closed. This baby is at high risk for bacterial contamination...peritonitis...which is fatal. First rule of order is cleanliness...you can wipe with iodine or Betadine, line a deep cup or bowl with a nonstick gauze pad, and place butt down in the container, and place it in the brooder NOT directly under the light so as not to cook it.

he's now walking around and the umbilical cord is twisting around and not as pink!! He's doing really well, he's been in the incubator now since around 7pm last night, should he be in the brooder now?

I wouldn't move him to the brooder until the membrane has dropped. Staying in the hatcher may also help encourage his hatchmates to come out and play.
