Is it stuck?

At 9:00 this morning I could hear the little guy pecking away and by 11:30 could see the first "crack" in the egg. However at 4:00 there didn't seem to be any progress. Could he be stuck? The other two chicks hatched yesterday and mama has stopped setting on it. Can I do anything to help? Generally how long does it take a chick to emerge.

yes you need to help the chick out gently peel the shell and look to see if the membrane is dry if it is still wet and bloody do not open it yet wait until it is nice and dry or it could bleed to death but do not leave it for more than a day or it will die
