IS It Time to take matter into my own hands???

My chick did the same thing to me this morning! After like 18 hours I couldn't take it, the poor thing was just banging his head on the shell so i picked away the shell (not the membrane) about 3/4 the way around. it cut the membrane with it's beak like a shell. right now It's sleeping in the brooder

That is what i suggest doing because it seemed to work pretty well. how long has the chick been sitting in there like that? Also make sure it's humid or it won't be able to turn in the egg.

He is zipping. He is very tired. The other one is starting to beat him out. I am trying to keep the humidity as high as possible. It is hovering at 65%.

Okay The 2nd one has hatched. I think I have to help the first one. He is trying to come out but can't zip all teh way. SO I will post more tomorrow. I hope the little guy will be okay.

Okay the first one has still not hatch. I think the membrane dried and he can't turn in it. Or he is shrink Wrapper. So I am going to soon help him out.

He is doing good!! Weak but i think he can pull through!! When I lookied through the bator window all 3 stood up and looked at me. I can't wait untill the get all fluffy!!
