is it time to toss my quail eggs?

I was using the chick bator (little yellow incubator) with 4 quail eggs. None hatched.

Today is day 21. They where suppose to hatch in 17-18 days.

Could they be late? Or should I just toss them?

I wouldn't toss them yet bobwhites take 24 days give them a couple more days.

These are coturnix (speckled eggs).

What kind of quail? If it is Coturnix then I would toss them.

ARE YOU SURE THERE COTURNIX? You might have other kind of quail eggs like valley or gamble quails, there eggs are also speckled.

Unless I'm dying for more room in the bator I wait 4 days. I think your safe to say they wont hatch by now but I just like to wait ..... I'm such a sucker

Yea me to I'd wait they probly won't hatch but I'd hate to throw them away to early.

Well how long do valley or gamble quails take?

the site that i bought them from said there either coturnix (speckled) or bobwhite (white).

Valley and gamble both take from 21 to 22 days to hatch, but the eggs have a slighty blue greenish color to the a lot lighter in color than coturnix.

the lighter ones in color are the gambles.
