Is it time?

Merlot hatch -a- longs are worldwide famous, just as Thang? Wow,a worldwide grape shortage in the making. I figured you were joking but didn't realize the vino hatchalongs was a part of so many peakeepers philosophy.

Peeps CA,,All other threads here has Hatch-a-longs,,I have Merlot hatch-a-longs,,Celebration of life parties held each weekend since we hatch each Friday and Saturday here. Nothing like a cool glass of the grape to release the deadly toxins in our bodies and to sample new bottled concoctions called wine.I have about 7 bottles lined up so far for this year. My aunt in Mississippi is supposed to be scouring the area for some dandelion and watermelon wine to add to my collection. I use my wine cooler fridge to keep peafowl eggs in all week set on 60 degrees, but always have one bottle inside for the merlot celebrations held starting next Friday here, hopefully.

Thanks for the clarification, being new here I didn't know. Big news in my life, yesterday I received, hand delivered by the State Alcohol Beverage Control, our FARM WINERY license!!! Now to develop a legal label and we are all set to go. I will give you a bottle of my finest mead for your celebrations. If you like sweet wine you will love this, I consider my mead an 'after dinner dessert wine'. PM me your address and I will send it to you.

I have 5 grape vines that are 3 yrs old....don't think enough to produce wine, but I'd love to learn how someday! I sure miss living where we had tons of vineyards and winery's.
They make honey mead here which is pretty good.

KsKingBee,,really?? Your not just teasing here? I love sweet reds, and hate the dry whites. Actually one of my most favorites is Martini and Rossi Asti Spumante. Almost tastes like sparkling white grape juice. Let me warn you tho, once the cork is removed so is the contents completely. After a long hard week at work nothing is better than kicking back in front of your glass topped hatcher and witness lufe emerge on peck at a time. It's starnge the toughest battle of their life is at the very beginning when they are the smallest and most vulnerable . This is why I deem them as Celebrations of Life. And a cold glass filled with sweet red is my reward.
