Is it to hot? Help!

If they’re panting they’re too hot. I would think about ventilating the garage. You don’t have to put a fan on the birds directly. You might need to just sit out there with them and watch them. I’m sorry you must be so worried!
Ok we decided to keep them inside at night and if we see their panting we are bringing them in. Yes i am, I'm new to raising chickens. But thank you for your help🙂

So what do i do if they're panting?
Move them to a cooler room.... if not give them Lots of cold water to drink. I put an ice cube in their water every few hours if they pant. since your putting them in a garage that stays 1 temp. they need a cooler room with a way to get warm. you don't want the entire brooder to be 95 they will die. you need a cooler place... with a heat pad or red lamp setup where half the brooder is lower temp than the other side so they can go where they feel most comfortable. i had this issue where mine was panting because i listened to someone that was giving bad advice to keep it 95 to 100. once wyorp rock and kiki helped me i reduced the temp to 90 in the hot side and about 85 in the cool side and my chicks sit where it is about 88 degrees so they seem to like that temp.

At a young age, I don't think you want the fan. Use cool water and Ice. You can get the Sav-A-chick electrolytes and have it in a second waterer once a week. Keep giving cool water.
