is it too cold for hatching eggs?

Thanks everyone! Yes I bob in to the shed where they are at the mo and they pop out once everyday! They are very determined! One is a warren, one is a Sussex light and one is a Blackrock. I've put blue french moran and rhode island red eggs underneath them, they have 4 eggs each. Fingers crossed! What do I look for if I candle them, and us it best to look at day 10?

I hope your hens take good care of the chicks when they hatch but if not, there is an alternative to heat lamps for keeping them warm. Here's a link to a great idea on using a heating pad for chicks (it's been used by quite a few members very successfully):
