Is it TOO early for Christmas lights?

My tree has been up for a week....LOL!

aww I gotta ask my mom and step dad if we can put ours up soon!

all of ours are still packed away downstairs in boxes.

But my mom doesn't really decorate until after thanksgiving.

I wish we could now!

You can hang them now, but I wouldn't turn them on until you've started digesting the turkey.

I just starting wearing one of my seasonal T-shirts.

Inside - any time you want.

Outside - I am still working on Halloween. However, I prefer not to see outside Christmas light until I have had Thanksgiving dinner.

I'll put mine up on the nicest day this week, but they don't get turned on until after Thanksgiving. The tree doesn't go up before Dec. 17th. My daughter's birthday is the 16th and I didn't want it to be overshadowed when she was little. The tradition stuck.
