I have 10, Buff Orpingtons that were 4 weeks old last Sunday. 8 of the 10 are feathered in.
One of the two others is a runt from an illness that still enjoys the heat plate. She's fine now and gaining weight. She is almost fully feathered in.
The last one is in the middle, size wise, but is pretty far behind on feathers.
Since the majority of them are good, can they move to the coop? I have a cozy coop heater I could put in for the last two, if it gets cool at night. I think they would like the coop because its much larger than the brooder. It's my first time with chicks, so any input is appreciated.
