I have 21 3-4 week old chicks they are starting to feather out I have an enclosed coop, that predators can't get into. Inside the coop at night it gets down to about 75 degrees can I go ahead and put them in their coop. I live in Western VA so it isn't cold yet?

If you want to be conservative, I'd wait another week. Mine tend to wean themselves off the heat plate at 5 weeks old. I don't know about VA, but we're going to have some cool nights coming up.

I currently do not have them on any heating plate or heat lamp and they have seemed to do fine. It probably is a bit colder in New Hampshire than in Virginia. They are also getting flighty and flying out of the brooder because I don't have a top for it.

In that case, I'd listen to nuthatched!

Move them out and give them some cuddle boxes in case they get cold or scared. Your problem will be light. Do they sleep in the dark now? If they do, your good to go. If not, they will want some kind of night light the first week until they get used to the coop.

They sleep in the dark currently I was going to put my brooder box in the coop on its side so the could snuggle up in it together at night if needed
