Is it too late in the year for my duck to go broody?

Off she goes again. I'll probably candle them in a couple days since it'll be a week since she initially laid on them. I don't have high hopes.

I say let her hatch them and give it a chance if it ends up getting to cold you could always plug in a brooder lamp

Down to 3 eggs as of this morning. She somehow managed to 'escape'. I'm not even sure how, I haven't found any duck-sized holes. Only thing I can think of is she managed to stretch the alrighty tight bungee cords holding down the tarp through a spot the pallet isn't blocking and pushed her way out, but that'd require a lot of strength...

One of the eggs was eaten. I think by her, considering bill marks on the shell. What a brat. The other 3 are fine and she's sitting on them. I'm thinking 4 was dead but I'll never know.

She appears to have gotten serious. She got on early yesterday afternoon and hasn't gotten off (maybe once to drink, looking at the water). She also built up the nest around herself. She looks very comfy. I'll try to get a picture of her after I eat.
