Is it too late?

I think five is good. I'm pretty sure most first timers have sometimes more than that but I would definitely do five and maybe replace some with some fresh eggs tomorrow.

To assure chicks I would give her as many eggs as she can adequately cover.
Ok i'll do that. This is my first time with a broody chicken, is there anything else I can do for her? Now that the rooster is gone i'm not really worried about separating her but i'm not sure how to monitor whether or not she's getting up to eat and drink.

She’ll get up to eat and drink. This whole thing is programmed into her. You don’t have to worry about her eating. Just monitor that she’s staying broody.
