I think five is good. I'm pretty sure most first timers have sometimes more than that but I would definitely do five and maybe replace some with some fresh eggs tomorrow.

Ok i'll do that. This is my first time with a broody chicken, is there anything else I can do for her? Now that the rooster is gone i'm not really worried about separating her but i'm not sure how to monitor whether or not she's getting up to eat and drink.

Welp it looks like she decided to change her mind. I went out and looked and she had left the nest and the eggs were cold. Oh well.
