Hope you're on city/county sewer system and not a septic tank. Bleach destroys the good bacteria in a septic system.
Crap
DH knew of my addiction to bleach and bleach cleaner long before I moved in with him. He warned me not to use bleach that would get washed down the drain in this house; due to the septic tank.
I ignored him. Three months later we had to have the septic tank pumped.
I have a kitchen sink with twisty drainpipes and it clogs pretty regularly. I unscrew the pipe and use my wet-dry shop vac to suck it out. Alternate vac, boiling water, vac, etc. til it's clear. It's messy but it always works.

Double crap. We DO use RidEx or whatever that stuff is called.

Sorry Crusty, for hi-jacking again. So what you're saying is you spend what 8 bucks? to buy some ridX and then pour bleach down the drain to kill the ridX?
