Is it too too early for my hen to lay?

Hello. Just yesterday I got one point of lay female polish chicken. We saw some eggs in her enclosure but the staff didn't know whose eggs they were as there were a lot of them. But today (the day after) she has been in the nest box most the day and I was wandering if she if going to lay. Is it too early for her to be laying as she is new? However the other chickens have bearly even noticed her so she's not stressed.

Nope, it's entirely possible that she will just continue to lay without interruption.

Okay thanks that's exciting as I have only received eggs from one hen before who now is too old.

Do you know how old she is and if she was laying before you got her?
Her egg may have started processing before she was moved.
She may or may not continue to lay as she adjusts to the new place.

She is now also running back and forth along the fence of her run then inside and back again! lol
