Is it true that EE's are harder to candle?

I have one EE out of this batch and it's so dark, I can't see ANYTHING. The light won't shine through at all. Go figure. I hope it hatches. LOL

My EE's eggs aren't really that dark....kind-of a light turquoise/olive (which I know makes no sense) and I assumed they would be about as easy as my white ones!!!!!

Yeah....not so much!!! I can't see a darn thing!!!! I can kinda make out the air cell and a slight dark area......I just have high hopes for the poor little guys!!!

Since that's all I really incubate anymore, I just went to putting tektrol in the water so that I reduce/retard the fungal growth. Haven't had a leaker yet (fingers crossed) I don't pull anything anymore, I used to try, and although you can definitely see stuff going on in some, I don't pull those that I can't determine. They are too tricky and it's a waste to pull. Just watch carefully for disease and you should be okay, you don't want a leaker to spoil the whole bunch, but it feels even worse when you destroy a perfectly good chicky.
