I am new to ducks but was told a soldans you always had to get your ducks in pairs or it would die. Which wasn't an issue we were buying 4. Now I'm lookng at another.duckling the same age as mine, is it ok to just get him then I'll have 5 or do I need to get 2 to make an even 6?

no he will be fine but if you have 3 boys and 2 girls it could be a problem because the boys will over mate the girls and could kill them

Ok thank you that will definitely be something I watch for when I can tell gender right they're all under a week old
