Hi! First post on this forum excited about becoming more involved.
I have 4 Ancona's that hatched in the beginning of July, so they are about 8-10 weeks old. I have had so much trouble telling their sexes. (Will post photos today) None of them have the tail curl, yet. They are all very attached to each other so when I try to listen to their quack it is hard to distinguish who is quacking when. I am almost positive one is a drake and one is a female, but I am unsure about the other two. Three of them are the classic white with black and one is a lavendar. I am almost positive the lavendar is a girl. The question I had with the black and white ones, they have green tinted feathers over their black coloring. Is this normal? Does the green indicate if they are drakes? If I end up with three drakes and one girl I will look into rehoming some of my boys!
Pictures to come
Thanks for your advice!
