Is it weird that I miss my chickens....

during the day when I'm at work?!?!? It is finally sunny in CT and all I can think about is being in the yard watching the chickens roam the woods and yard while I work in the garden or rest on the hammock.

I have a 8 x 10 picture on my wall here of the coop/run with the girls hanging out and it is not cutting it! I want to be HOME!

I would miss my chickens too! Maybe your boss will let you have a "Bring a Chicken to Work" day?!?!

Not weird at all. I miss mine during the day too. We were away for 4 days a couple of weeks ago, and I had to call home to check on them. Kinda pathetic, but there you go!

I always look forward to coming home and letting them out to play.

Total highlight of my day. I am DREADING my vacation.....now that's just sick....but I hate the thought of being away from them for so long. It's always hard enough leaving my dog!!

I missed my exit TWICE today while planning coops and breeding chickens in my head. I drive a truck from PA to MA at night and I totally zone out when I'm plotting my chickens' futures.

I know my family and friends are getting real tired of my one track mind!!

I'm glad I can run out and check on them. I work at home so that is possible. I still miss them. I think I could be out there all day.
