Is it wrong to kiss your chicken?

That's kinda my issue. I haven't kissed her yet. Considering it now...but still not ready to take the plunge.

Meet my husband. A big red headed Scotsman, ex Military, gun wielding, knife making, most of the time not smiling and looking angry.....Well you get the point. Mr.Intimidator. This is him out with the chickens. And perched on his shoulder is our hen named Skitzo. She is named that for a reason. Anyone gets near her and she starts screaming and running around like a banshee, and doing circles like a crazy person. But when hubby comes around, all 9 of them are at his feet wanting attention. Every time we are out there one ends up in his lap and he is cuddling them, talking lil baby talk to them(oh yea), and YES, he kisses them, ALL THE TIME, all of them. lol I giggle at him and he looks at me "What????" I love him to death but it is still weird to me to see how he acts with them. I have yet to kiss on my chickens but that doesnt mean I wouldn't. I just leave it to the big man. They like him more anyways. I'd prolly end up losing a chunk of lip if I tried anyways.

Lol I kiss all my animals except the chickens- but that's probably cause they usually have spiderwebs and rabbit fur all over their heads. Ha ha.

I kiss my chickens all the time. especially my lap chickens, Lady and Yolanda. They are both Buff Orpingtons. Congrats to Lady on laying her first egg!
