Jolene is supposed to be a Favaucana and yet she is much much smaller than the two black “sisters” plus she has this ridiculous plume on her head and blue earlobes and a little tiny comb. She is wicked feisty and very curious and is always trying to get up into the tree. It doesn’t matter greatly since we love her just the way she is, but I am curious as to whether she is a real breed (isbar?) or just something unnamed. Any help appreciated!

does she lay eggs yet? then you might notice some colored eggs in your basket.
she looks like she could have some sapphire of some sort mixed in... maybe sapphire + polish or something like that?
No eggs yet. I am expecting something colored though. I don’t know about a sapphire. Will look that up. Thanks!

Love that name- Willow. They are so interesting aren’t they? I never expected the personality she displays and the apparent excitement when I come to visit. And she seems to be buddies with the rooster and not at the bottom of the pecking order despite her petite size. So much to learn.
